Fourth Sunday of Advent
The expression, nothing happens by coincidence is especially true when it comes to God’s divine providence. Each day we play a role in human history and the history of salvation. Thus one of the greatest moments in human history happened roughly 2,000 years ago whereby Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth in the hill country of Judah. Elizabeth being the first of many to recognize Mary’s significant role in God’s plan was in awe by God’s timing and providence.
